Some drummers charge by the hour, but I think that can be complicated, so I charge by the song, which is on a sliding scale depending on the number of tunes to be recorded: While I do have a basic rates list, available upon request, I do like to take each song/project as a unique entity and give a quote that will be fair to both of us.
